Sat. Sept. 5        Rice Fest at Ward Village in Office Depot parking lot behind the theater parking 340 Kamakee St. 10am – 5pm – FREE. Experience Hawaii’s culinary diversity via food demos, entertainment, contests and more -all celebrating rice. Ricefest.com

Sun. Sept. 6        Sing Dance, Act at the Art Explorium 1142 Kokohead Ave from 2:30 – 5pm for $15. A medley of a workshop, Students have opportunities to explore performance techniques, as well as design some unique art props. Breath control. Vocal warmups, dance and acting games guide us as artists and performers. Pre-registration required -artexplorium.org
