9/18 - 9/25

Mistake on flier
Your child came home with flier for SCC Virtual Meeting.  The date is Monday, September 21 (not 28). Sorry for any confusion. Hope you can join the conversation on Sept. 21 from 6pm – 7pm

Federal Survey cards must be turned in for every public school child in the state. Please don’t make the office follow up with you. Mahalo for turning them in promptly.

Student drop off
We realize that it is crowded, busy and hectic as everyone tries to get their child to school on time. Parents are not allowed to park in the grassy lot in front of the school. This is reserved for staff. Some driving rules are in place to keep everyone safe and when parents don’t follow these rules it puts people in danger. In the morning, the drop off zone is in front of the cafeteria. If instead you try to let your child off in front of the office, you cause big problems for everyone.

Bus payment reminder for 2nd quarter
Payment for quarter 2 bus passes are now being accepted in the school’s office. Pay by cash or check payable to “Department of Education”. Prices remain at: round trip -- $72. One Way -- $36.00  Coupons -- $12.50.  If you are paying by the quarter, don’t forget to bring your student’s bus pass so it can be punched.

If are moving, please let the office know as soon as possible. It can take 1- to 2 weeks to process your final paperwork

On your mark, get set, go! The PTO membership drive is THEIR Fall fund raiser. The race to the finish line has begun and so far, Ms. Goto's kindergarten class in room I2 is in the lead! Students and teachers, don't forget to turn in your PTO Membership forms so that your class can speed ahead and win the race.  Check out the PTO car race bulletin board on the cafeteria to watch your class car move down the racetrack. The first class from each grade level to reach 80% participation will receive a special goody bag for each student and a popcorn party! Then when each class reaches their goal they will get a popcorn party. Who will be first? With your support it could be your classroom, good luck

Collecting Cardboard for big events the end of this month. Donations accepted in PCNC corner of front office. Gladly take your moving boxes. Will help you unload your car, email Ellen_Petry@notes.k12.hi.us
