April 30 Hug your Mother Earth Day at Wahiawa Shopping Center and Town Center in Longs Drugs parking lot from 10am – 1pm. FREE community event, free activities and free entertainment. Ti leaf lei making, seed and planting ideas, keiki make and take craft, many performances by local schools.

April 30 & May 1 Hawaiʻi Book and Music Festival is happening from 9am – 5pm. Come by the free event and visit engaging talk story presentations and panels, hear live music and watch hula on the open lawn, take in a theatrical stage performance, bite into some deliciously tasty food, and of course, get seriously good deals on books from Bess Press and many others! Book Swap – bring 5 gently used books and exchange them for 5 more, as often as you like.
