Fair open in F4 Mon – Thurs 7:30am – 3pm and Monday 5pm – 7pm for family event.
Parents can shop any time and with their child’s class.
Mon. Sept. 28 Eat Play Build is family STEM event
from 5pm – 7pm. Kona Ice and the Book Fair accept debit or credit cards. Hot
dog dinners for $3.00 and cupcakes for dessert are cash only. As families
circulate together you can build and shoot rockets, play giant jenga, craft
with Ben Franklin and of course build games from cardboard. Many classes are
celebrating cardboard challenge by having students build games and bring to
school to share. If you bring your family's games to the Game Play station in
the cafe when you arrive, you can teach a soldier how to play, then others can
play during the event. Many supplies on hand to create your families game.

Hale Kula celebrates the 3rd annual Cardboard
Challenge on Oct. 1 & 2. The purpose of the Cardboard Challenge is to
inspire children and adults to imagine, build, play and share their creations. Students
will all circulate to stations building and playing games that others have
created. For

Federal Survey cards must be turned in for every
public school child in the state.. Mahalo for turning them in promptly and completely
filled out.
Bus payment reminder for 2nd quarter
Payment for quarter 2 bus passes are now being
accepted in the school’s office. Pay by cash or check payable to “Department of
Education”. Prices remain at: round trip -- $72. One Way -- $36.00 Coupons -- $12.50. If you are paying by the quarter, don’t
forget to bring your student’s bus pass so it can be punched.
If are moving, please let the office know as soon
as possible. It can take 1- to 2 weeks to process your final paperwork

Sept. 28 – Oct. 3 Mililani Library pays homage to books that
were banned with a free mini film festival. Sept. 28 at 3pm is Footloose. Sept.
30 at 2:30 is Fahrenheit 451. Oct. 1 at 2pm is To Kill a Mockingbird. Oct. 3 at
2pm is Where the Wild Things are. The film festival is intended to raise
awareness of the First amendment and issues surrounding banned books. Screenings
