Aloha, Staff and Parents of Hale Kula Elementary School,

After a meeting with the Hale Kula Parent Teacher Organization Board yesterday, it was agreed that there are irreconcilable differences, and a motion was made and approved by the Board members present to dissolve the PTO effective June 30, 2015.

We are requesting that you include your name and your child’s name/room number so we can verify that you are a parent or staff member at Hale Kula. If we have strong opposition to this decision to dissolve the Hale Kula PTO, we will regroup to discuss next steps.

We appreciate all of the support from the PTO this past year, and we know that some of the school activities would not have been possible without their volunteer assistance as well as their fundraising projects. This is a difficult decision but one that will hopefully allow for healing.
