PTO voting ends today for the 2015 – 2016 school year of officers. Vote on Friday April 10 before school OR after school at Friday store in P14 OR at PTO family fun, dinner and movie night in the cafeteria starting at 6pm. Voting will end when the movie begins approximately 6:40 ish. Cast your ballot. Let your voice be heard.

Pine Run – Wahiawa Pineapple Run is set for 7am on May 16. Starting and ending at Ka’ala Elementary School. Entrance fee is $40. Run or walk through the pineapple fields approx.. 6 miles. Sign up at pineapplerunhi@gmail.com

Triathlon entries are due by May 9 for the North Shore Olympic Triathlon set for 5:45am May 17 at Mokuleia Beach Park and featuring an 800 meter swim, 25 mile bike race and 10K run. For details visit active.com or call 372-8885

Scrap metal, bicycles, appliances - 3 propane tanks, fire extinguishers, heat pumps each - Computers, monitors, printers, scanners –no limit - One TV per car - HI-5 beverage containers - Used household cooking oil - Cell phones, ink cartridges, PDAs, etc. - All kinds of batteries - Usable clothing - Used eye glasses and hearing aids for Hawaii Lions Clubs - Incandescent light bulbs exchange for CFLs, maximum 4 CFLs per car - Prom dresses, accessories for Bella Project - Women’s business suits, accessories for Dress for Success - Canned goods for Hawaii Food Bank - Pet food, towels, blankets for Poi  Dogs and Popoki - Free towing of unwanted cars, call 291-6151
