April 30 Hug your Mother Earth Day at Wahiawa
Shopping Center and Town Center in Longs Drugs parking lot from 10am –

performances by local schools.
April 30 Earth Day at Waimea Valley with forest
restoration work from 9am – 3pm Free admission for volunteers. Call 638-7766
April 30 & May 1 Hawaiʻi Book and Music Festival is
happening from 9am – 5pm. Come by the free event and visit engaging talk
story presentations and panels, hear live music and watch hula on the open
lawn, take in a theatrical stage performance, bite into some deliciously tasty
food, and of course, get seriously good deals on books from Bess Press and many
others! Book Swap – bring 5 gently used
books and exchange them for 5 more, as often as you like. Festival website

Day Crafts and Food Expo at the Neal Blaisdell Center. $5 is general admission,
$4 military and seniors 65+. Fri. 4pm – 9pm, Sat 10am – 8pm, Sun 10am – 5pm.
