12/11 - 12/17

If you will be PCSing or changing schools during the break please contact the office as soon as possible.  This is so we can have a release packet ready to take with you on your last day.  

Giving Tree from last weeks PTO holiday event is on the counter in the front office. Many teachers have put wishes hanging on tag. You can grant their wish by taking tag from the tree and then delivering item to their room next week. Thank you for helping teachers and granting their wishes.

Jingle Bell Run is Monday Dec. 14. Each student is encouraged to donate $1.00. All money will be given to Institute for Human Services whose mission is to prevent and end homelessness in Hawaii. Wear closed toe shoes to participate in 20 minute Fun Run

Dec. 11 & 18 Wahiawa Botanical Garden offers a workshop on making succulent wreaths from natural materials at 10am. Bring gloves and clippers. Fee is $20. Sign up at 522-7066

Fri. Dec. 11  Haleiwa Town Christmas Parade at 6pm moving from Weed Circle to Haleiwa Beach Park. Call 637-4558

Sat. Dec. 12 Lauhala Holidays at Hawaii State Art Museum, 250 S. Hotel St. 11am – 3pm FREE. Learn lauhala weaving and go home with ornaments to treasure and share: fish, stars and mini wreaths. 586-9958

Sat. Dec. 12        Holiday Festival and Candy Cane Lane from 5pm – 9pm at Mililani High school with sweet treats, activities and prizes. Call 521-2611

Feb. 4               save the date       MCEC S.P.A.R.C. Workshop from 8am – 4pm. (Strength, Potential Aspirations Resourcefulness Confidence) S.P.A.R.C. is a 1 day institute providing participants with the knowledge needed to prepare young people to develop hardiness skills to meet personal and professional goals through identification of their sparks and interests.
