PTO Art
Program
Our Art Teacher had 1 more lesson planned for all
classrooms but is now on medical leave.
There are supplies and lesson plans in P14 and we are
looking for 1 parent to go to each classroom and share this art lesson with the

"Heroes at
Home" Summer Camp at YMCA Camp Erdman.
This opportunity is FREE and open to all military youth (entering grades
6-9) who have experienced or will be experiencing the deployment of a loved
one. This camp is funded through a
partnership of the DoD, OSD, Military Community & Family Policy, Office of
Family Policy/Child and Youth and USDA/NIFA under Kansas State University. YMCA Camp Erdman received this special
funding to facilitate this 3rd annual Heroes at Home summer camp made special
for middle-school-aged military youth affected by deployment.
Spots for this camp fill up quickly, so please encourage any interested families to register soon!

March 20 Spring Fling Carnival at
Helemano Community Center from 4pm – 6pm. Game booths and prizes, face
painting, bounce houses, bike rodeo (bring your bike and safety gear) obstacle
course, keiki ID’s. Eno complimentary popcorn, cotton candy and shave ice courtesy
of your IPC ‘ohana. Still hungry? Plate lunches from Flavors of the World will

Leilehua High School gym from 9am – 5pm and March 22 from 9am – 4pm. FREE.

Mon. March 30 Bullying
Prevention and Intervention Workshop: Realistic Strategies for Parents at Oahu Veteran’s Center 1298 Kukila street in Honolulu from 5:30pm – 8:00pm. Dinner
will be provided. Parents will learn
about the types of behavior that constitute bullying perpetration and
victimization, and learn how to notice when youth are engaged in these
behaviors. Space is limited, so please RSVP to Nicole Bell at 808-733-9815
