Fri. March 13       2nd’s at Leilehua from 4pm – 8pm. Many food trucks in the front parking lot.

Sat. March 14      Eat the Streets Mililani from 2pm – 7pm at Rec Center 7 and Mililani Ike El on Lehiwa Drive with entertainment, a keiki zone, parking shuttles and an ATM. Theme for the 40 vendors this month is ‘chocolate’ call 440-2607

Sat. March 14      Hawaii State Art Museum at 250 S. Hotel Street 11am – 3pm. Activities, galleries open for FREE. Hawaii Handweavers Hui demonstrates how to weave an Easter basket and more. 586-9958

Sun. March 15      Ohana Waimea Valley family day from 9am – 5pm with half-price admission for kamaaina and military families. It includes a scavenger hunt, stories, hula, lei making, petroglyph rubs, and makahiki games call 638-7766

School is out all week long for Spring Break – March 16 - 20

Tues. March 17     Child, Youth and School Services (CYS Services) will be conducting their Quarterly Family Advisory Board Meeting on Tuesday, March 17 at the Schofield Barracks Youth Center ( Bldg 9090, 2251 McMahon Road).  From 5:30 p.m. - 6:15 p.m., there will be a Teen Conflict Management and Bullying Workshop which will be followed by the Family Advisory Board Meeting from 6:15 p.m.-7:15 p.m. This is a great opportunity for parents to meet the CYS Services Coordinator and Administrators as well as share ideas and discuss current CYS Services events.

Fri. March 20      Spring Fling Carnival at Helemano Community Center from 4pm – 6pm. Game booths and prizes, face painting, bounce houses, bike rodeo (bring your bike and safety gear) obstacle course, keiki ID’s. Eno complimentary popcorn, cotton candy and shave ice coutesy of your IPC ohana. Still hungry? Plate lunches from flavors of the world will be available for purchase. Call 808-741-2780

March 28    Recycling drive from 9am – noon at Wheeler Elementary school. Welcome all contributions including: scrap metal, bicycles, appliances, computers, laptops, printers, cartridges, newspaper and more

Mon. March 30     Bullying Prevention and Intervention Workshop: Realistic Strategies for Parents at Oahu veteran’s center 1298 Kukila street in Honolulu from 5:30pm – 8:00pm. Dinner will be provided.  Parents will learn about the types of behavior that constitute bullying perpetration and victimization, and learn how to notice when youth are engaged in these behaviors.
