FREE Books:  Due to the upcoming construction of a new library, our library’s books are being inventoried and packed and continue to be discarded. Stop by and check out the carts outside the library. Help yourself to books to add to your home library. Stop by often as more books continue to be added to the carts.
National Teacher Appreciation week May 5 – 9 – Show your appreciation to your teachers.
39th Annual Pineapple 10K Run is set for 7am on May 17 with free pineapples and prizes at the finish line. Fee is $40 now or $50 after May 8 at active.com or email the pineapplerun@gmail.com  The race starts and ends at Ka’ala Elementary school with a run through the Wahiawa hills and surrounding pineapple fields in between.
Pi-bot Robotics Academy for girls entering 6th grade – 8th grade. This is a 5 day robotics workshop taught by student members of the Kalani Robotics team during the summer July 14 – 18 from 12:30 – 3:30 at the Kalani High School Library. Kalanirobotics.com

Sat. May 3         Mililani Town Center hosts a craft fair from 10am – 5pm. Selling: crystal jewelry, honey canes, kettle corn, baked goods, Tupperware and more 682-5857

Tues, May 6        4th Grade Field Trip to Lo’i for C1 & F4

Wed. May 7       Chaperone Training in P14 at 8:00am
                      PTO Teacher Appreciation Luncheon – donations from parents welcome

Thurs. May 8       Breakfast with my Soldier for these classes only F4A, C3, C4
                      4th Grade Field Trip to Lo’i for B1 & C2

Fri. May 9          3rd Grade Parent Math in the cafeteria from 1pm – 2pm
                      Boxtop for Education pick up from classrooms

2nd & 4th Saturday of the month is International Folk Dancing. Enjoy music and learn dances from around the world 7pm – 9pm at the Atherton YMCA – 1810 University Ave in Honolulu. www.facebook.com/site/mandalafolkdance suggested donation $5.00 for adults, children are free
