The Hale Kula Book Fair is just around the corner!  Students will preview the fair Sept. 23-27.  Families may begin shopping Friday, Sept 27 after school.  Book Fair hours Sept. 30-Oct. 4 are 7:00 am - 3:00 pm.

The Hale Kula Cardboard Challenge is just two weeks away, but students have already started creating!  You can watch videos and look at pictures of student creations on the library website: http://halekulalibrary.weebly.com/cardboard-challenge.html  Click on the Cardboard Challenge Tab to watch event's inspiration (Caine's Arcade) and a planning guide to create your own game.  Click on Cardboard Challenge Videos to see cardboard events from around the world.

                      Music, Food, Bake Sale, vendors selling craft and holiday items

Sat. Sept. 21       Boys & Girls Clubs Day for Kids from 10am – 2pm at Schofield Barracks school age center, building 1280 (corner of Lyman and Hewitt) Day of fun, entertainment and prizes: dunk booth, rock wall climbing, free food and more

Sat. Sept. 21       FreedomRail Workshop – Simply Organized in Kapolei from 1pm – 2pm FREE. Create the closet of your dreams. 693-8888

Mon. Sept. 23      School Community Council Meeting at 3:00pm

Tues. Sept. 24      Jamba Juice buy 8oz smoothies for $2.25. & Book Swap for kids books

Wed. Sept. 25      Cross Country Competition at 9am at Watts Field. Our team of 3rd, 4th and 5th graders compete against other elementary schools

Thurs. Sept. 26    School wide evacuation drill

Fri. Sept. 27        Chaperone Training at 8:00am in P14
                      1st chance to shop the Book Fair after school
