Teacher Appreciation
Week May 6 – 10 – Thank your teacher for a great school year
Yearbooks are for sale $20
cash only.
First
come, first served until sold out. May 8 afterschool near the cafeteria. May 10
& 17 in P14 at school store. May 15 after May Day ceremony and after school.
Lunch
Payments:
We sometimes have money left in our lunch account when
school ends. If you are not continuing at Hale Kula next year, your lunch
refund will be available in the front office on or after May 29 along with your
exit packet of paperwork for your next school. If you are graduating but want your extra
money to go to a siblings account next year, please turn in form soon.
Make sure your child/children has/have enough money in
their account to last through Friday May 24. Last day to deposit to lunch
accounts is May 18 AND NO MORE LUNCH LOANS! According to State, a student must have no
outstanding obligations, as in outstanding lunch loans or outstanding library
books, in order to participate in extra-curricular or nonacademic activities
such as Water Play Day.
Schofield
Football Association registrations.
Age groups: division 1 is grades 7 & 8. Division 2 is

Comings
and Goings
If you will not be returning to Hale Kula next year make
sure you turn in a release form as soon as your duty station is assigned. If
you are going to 6th grade at Wheeler Middle, no need a form
If you have moved out of the Schofield Inn please bring in
your address verification to the office.
If you are no longer living within our housing area and will be
transferring to another
school we ask for 1-2 weeks notice to get a release packet
together for the next school.
Lost & Found
A large number of sweaters, sweatshirts,
lunchboxes, water bottles etc. are on the lost & found table outside of the
cafeteria. Check to see if any belong to your child

Sat, May 4 Aloha Aina Recycling Drive 9am – 12pm
Mililani Uka Elementary 94-380 Kuahelani Ave. Items accepted: all types of
scrap metal including bicycles and appliances, computers, printers including
cartridges and toner, all types of batteries, reusable clothing and household
items, paper, corrugated cardboard, hi5 glass bottles & jars, aluminum
cans, plastics and more.
Mon. May 6 Teacher Appreciation: High five your teacher day and bring
some hand sanitizer to donate to class
Tues. May 7 4th grade field trip to Loi
Patch
Teacher Appreciation: hug your teacher and
bring a box of tissues for class
Wed. May 8 Staff appreciation luncheon in D4 –
thank you for your contributions
Thurs. May 9 4th grade field trip to Loi
Patch
Teacher Appreciation: Bring a card, poem or
note and school supply item
Fri. May 10 Every Friday Store in P14 afterschool –
Nothing over $1.00
Sat. May 11 Letter
Carriers’ Food Drive. Put your non-perishable donation in a bag next to your
mailbox
