5/11 - 5/17

May Day starts at 9:00am
Sorry for any confusion in saying that it started at 8:30. Our Schoolwide May Day celebration starts at 9am and lasts approx. hour and a half.  Families are invited to come and see the performances every grade level has been preparing.

Water Play is May 17
Every grade will come to the field to play water activities. In order to participate; students can have no outstanding lunch loans or library books.  Students must have complete change of clothes including underwear, towel and rubber slippers are a good idea, pack everything in plastic market bag that can be used to hold wet items. Students should bring water bottles to the field since no water will be available to drink during their 45 minutes of water play.

We will be switching the schedule on the last week of school
Wednesday, May 22 -- School will end at 2:10 & Friday, May 24 - School will end at 1:30.

Yearbooks are for sale $20 cash only.
First come, first served until sold out. May 10 & 17 in P14 at school store.  May 15 after May Day ceremony and after school.

Cookbook Contest
Hale Kula celebrated our 50th birthday by creating a cookbook. Recipes were collected from students, teachers and parents. Only 2 weeks left of school and we only have 3 cookbooks left for the bargain price of $9.00 each. We have a contest that runs until all cookbooks are gone. The classroom with the most sales gets a popsicle party. To purchase a cookbook, email leave your name, contact number, how many cookbooks and child’s classroom number.
ALL proceeds go to the Hale Kula's library. They make great farewell gifts.

Lunch Payments:
We sometimes have money left in our lunch account when school ends. If you are not continuing at Hale Kula next year, your lunch refund will be available in the front office on or after May 29 along with your exit packet of paperwork for your next school.  If you are graduating but want your extra money to go to a siblings account next year, please turn in form soon.
Make sure your child/children has/have enough money in their account to last through Friday May 24.
