Fri. April 1   Mililani 1st Friday is open from 4pm – 8pm at Mililani High School. Offering 30 vendors selling all kinds of food.

Sat. April 2 North Shore Bike Path cleanup runs from 9am – 12 noon. Starts at Ehukai Beach Park and clear in both directions.  Call 808-735-5756

Sun. April 3        Comic Jam Hawaii at Pearlridge Center, Downtown Center Court 1pm – 4pm FREe.  Local artists gather, talk story, and draw collaborative cartoons, illustrations and sketches. 808-203-2366

Sun. April 3 Craft, Gift & Rubberstamp Expo plus Crafters clearance sale at the Neal Blaisdell Center, Hawaii Suites from 9am - 3pm FREE.  Featuring local vendors selling a variety of wonderful crafts, gift items and supplies nanstar@hawaii.rr.com

Welcome back to school in the 4th Quarter


PTO Spring Bread Fundraiser money due March 31
Each loaf is $7.00 and the delivery day will be on April 21st. There are cash prizes for top sellers and everyone that sells 5 gets entered in drawing for cash prize. Classroom parties for large percentage of students supporting fundraiser. If each student sells at least 5 loaves we will succeed.

Spring cleaning?  Getting ready to move?  Our makerspace needs your donations!  Check out our list of requested items https://goo.gl/u4Stra  Donations can be dropped in the Makerspace box in office or left on the round table outside F4.

Saturdays and Sundays Art at the Zoo fence from 9am – 4pm. Enjoy art along the outside fence of the Honolulu Zoo and meet the artists. Located on Monsarrat Ave. Free street parking and across street in lot at Kapiolani Park

ISTE is one of the largest technology conferences & Rachel will bring back great things to promote educational technology at Hale Kula.

If you will be moving to another school or PCSing please contact the office so that we can prepare a release packet for you.  Please give the office 2 weeks notice. 

Kindergarten registration for next year has begun. Stop by and pick up packet today.

March 18    Spring Fling Carnival at Helemano Community Center 173 Romero Road.  Game booths and prizes, face painting, inflatable slides, bike rodeo (bring your bike and safety gear) keiki ID’s. Enjoy complimentary popcorn, cotton candy and shave ice courtesy of IPC. 808-741-2780

March 18 – 20 Kunia Orchid Show at Leilehua High School in the gym. 22 plant vendors and hourly door prizes. Food booths, gardening supplies demonstrations and more. Friday and Saturday 9am -5pm and Sunday 9am – 4pm


March 19    Bishop Museum free admission for kama’aina and military with valid ID.   Opening day celebration – The return of the ‘Ahu ‘Ula and Mahiole of Kalani’opu’i ceremony 9:30am on the Great Lawn. Visit the exhibit, Hawaiian forest birds March 19 – July 31

March 21    Leilehua Campus Beautification from 8am – noon. Anyone interested in helping out just stop by. Includes; replanting grass, repainting lines and curbs, picking up trash, filling holes and fixing fence. Ask that no small children be brought to this event. Wear old clothes. Questions? March 26 – May 28       Parent Project; empowering parents transforming teens. For parents or guardians, teachers, youth counselors. Provides specific solutions to the problems that parents face today. Offers practical and emotional support to families as they begin the difficult process of change. Life changing results; builds hope for families and communities. Classes from 8am – 11am meet weekly for 10 weeks. At the Parish Hall at Wahiawa Christian Church 1710 Royal Palm Drive in Wahiawa. March 26    Fun Fest and Environmental Festival from 9am – 2pm at Weyand Field, Schofield. 9:15 Child Mile Fun Run – no registration required.  Pictures with the Easter Bunny, food trucks, games, activities, pony rides, petting zoo, bouncers and rides. Upcycling crafts and coloring activities, sustainability and natural resources educational activities. Egg Hunts for age 2 – 4 at 11am -  age 5-8 at 11:20 and age 9-12 11:40. March 26    Kolekole 10K Run at 7am. Leaders Field on Schofield. Register online at himwr.com now through March 22. Entry fee is $35. Fee includes: T shirt, race bib and entry.
