Community Events

Dec. 2, 9, 16 Wahiawa Botanical Garden offers lessons in making a Christmas centerpiece from natural materials at 11 am. Fee is $5. per centerpiece. Sign up at 522-7066

Fri. Dec. 4   Wahiawa Santa Claus Parade starts at 6:30pm at Ka’ala Elementary, moving up California Ave. to Center Street. Santa will visit with keiki at parades end in Longs Parking Lot. Call 348-2238

Sat. Dec. 5  Mililani Holiday Parade begins at 9am at Mililani Town Center and ends about 10:30am at Mililani Shopping center with free activities until 1:30pm at both venues. MSC also plans a snow play zone with 8 tons of “Hawaiian Snow” call 521-2611


Dec. 8     Christmas Tree lighting at Watts Field. Festivities and Santa visit for the whole family fun at twilight

Dec. 11 & 18 Wahiawa Botanical Garden offers a workshop on making succulent wreaths from natural materials at 10am. Bring gloves and clippers. Fee is $20. Sign up at 522-7066

(Strength, Potential Aspirations Resourcefulness Confidence) S.P.A.R.C. is a 1 day institute providing participants with the knowledge needed to prepare young people to develop hardiness skills to meet personal and professional goals through identification of their sparks and interests.
