Drop Off and Pick Up:
While we do realize that parking is a challenge especially
with the on-going construction, please understand that the parking areas in
front of the cafeteria, including the grass/gravel parking area are reserved
for faculty and staff. We also need to
keep the roadway directly in front of the cafeteria open for buses so while it
is fine to drop off and/or pick up your child in the flag pole area, please do
not park and/or leave your vehicle in that area while you walk your child to
class. We have numerous staff members
inside and around the cafeteria in the mornings who can assist making sure your
child gets safely to their correct classroom.
The Military Police have noted that several people were parking and
fully blocking the sidewalk in front of the school (under posted no parking
signs) as well as speeding through the parking lot where children were
walking. I have been informed that MPs
will be ticketing those vehicles illegally parked and/or driving in an unsafe
manner. Thank you for your
cooperation. Agnes Leinau, Vice
Principal
