Ohana
Heroes Project
The
University of Hawaii has been selected for a grant to examine the impact of
military deployment. Our goal is to determine and develop the types of
resources and programs that would be most helpful for military families coping
with extended separation. The study will take 4-5 hours over the course of a
week to complete. Families with at least one child between the ages of 7 and 17
are eligible to participate. $100 compensation will be provided for families’
time and effort. All data collected will be kept confidential and
de-identified. For your convenience and ease, study staff are able to make
appointments after school hours and/or weekends for you and your child and can
meet you at a location of your choosing, including your home. For more
information about the study, please visit www.ohanaheroes.com and call (808-933-3861) or email (contact@ohanaheroes.com) to schedule a
screening eligibility call.
