12/12 - 12/19


Thank you to all the Fact Busters who participated in the Math Fact Bees!
Congratulations to the Kindergarten Fact Busters –
in third place, winning the Bronze medal:  Danniella Sebastian from J3,
in second place, earning the Silver medal:  Elliott Howard from I3
and taking home the Gold medal, in first place, from I3:  Michael Heflin!

In the 1st and 2nd Grade Fact Bee we have the following winners:
          in third place, the Bronze medal was awarded to Jennovi Diederich of D-2
         in second place, the Silver medal was presented to Pacey Calligan of B-4        
         and the Gold medal was bestowed upon our first place winner, Bradley Church of B-3!

Awards went to these winners from the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Fact Bee:
The Bronze medal went to Brandon Trapp of P17 for third place
The silver medalist is Laci Parrot of A3 for second place
Our first place winner bringing home the gold medal is Autumn McCarthy of A2.
Congratulations to all the contestants of the Fact Bee for a job well done!

Fri. Dec. 12         Jingle Bell Run – All grades come to the field to run/walk. Donate $1. All donations go to benefit Wounded Warriors project.

Fri. Dec. 12         Leilehua High School front parking lot. Food Trucks and Food Vendors from 4pm – 7pm.  There will be delicious food from Hula Shrimp, Beyond Burgers, cupcakes, taco truck, Cajun guy, LHS Culinary Academy and more.

Fri. Dec. 12         Haleiwa Town Christmas Parade from 6pm – 8pm. Moving from Weed circle to Haleiwa Beach Park call 637-4558

Mon. Dec. 15       Spirit Week – Crazy Hair Day

Tues. Dec. 16       Book Swap and Popcorn Sale in cafeteria 2:00 pm – 2:30. 50 cents popcorn, bring a book from your shelf to swap for another.

Wed. Dec. 17      Super Eagle Assembly in the back of the school 8:30am – 9:30
                      PTO Board Meeting in P14 at 11am – Everyone welcome
                      Spirit Week – Crazy Color Day

Wed. Dec. 17       Bicycle Safety at Kaena Community Center begins at 4pm. Every child is encouraged to bring their helmets & bicycles to this event. Includes: rules of road lesson, bike rodeo course. Refreshments served and prizes available. You must RSVP at rsvp@ipchawaii.com

Thurs. Dec. 18      Spirit Week – Inside Out Clothes

Fri. Dec. 19         Friday school store in P14 after school – nothing over $1.00
                      Last Day of school for the first semester
                      Spirit Week – Mismatched Clothes and Shoes
