School Returns on Oct. 14.

No students on campus next week. But the office is open for business.

We continue to collect the Federal Impact Aid Forms.  Please turn in one for each of your children. There are extra forms in the office.  We are still missing about 100 forms.

If you have moved out of the Schofield Inn please bring your address verification to the office so that we may update your child's records.

A reminder that if you are PCSing or have moved out of our housing area please contact the office so that we may have a packet ready on your child's last day.  

Bus Riders
Bus payments for Quarter 2 are being accepted in the office. 
Fees are:  $72.00/round trip; $36.00/one-way; $12.50 per sheet of 10 coupons. 
For passes we can accept checks (to Department of Education) or cash, but cash only for coupons.   Please bring exact amount.  Mahalo!

Fri. Oct. 3          Cardboard Challenge. Grade levels come to the field to imagine, build, play. Parents are invited to come and help their children build and play during their grade level time.

Hawaii Fall Break Soccer Camp
Oct 6-10, 2014 - Central Oahu Regional Park
I Got Skills Camps are for beginning and Elite Soccer Players alike. Players are grouped by age and abilities..Time: 9am to 3pm  (Drop Off From 8:30am, Pick up till 3:30pm)
Who:  All boys and girls ages 6-16 welcome
Attire: Proper soccer attire including cleats, shin guards, ball, water bottle, and sack lunch

October 15 is part 1 & October 22 is part 2  CPR First Aid workshops for military and civilian Youth ages 12 – 18 on Schofield Barracks at Bennett Youth Center. Participants must complete both sessions to receive a certificate of completion. Students should bring a meal, beverage and snack. Bring light jacket. Registration for classes must be done in person at Schofield Barracks – Parent Central Services at 241 Hewitt St. Bldg. 1283. Walk in hours: 7:30am – 11am or call 655-5314 to schedule appointment from 1pm – 4pm

Hale Kula Library...online!
Please book mark the Hale Kula Library website so you and your family can access online resources and see the research projects students are doing in the library.  The Online Resources link connects you with electronic books and databases appropriate for a range of ages.  Tumble Books is a collection of online, animated picture books.  PebbleGo! has videos and text on science and social studies topics for Kindergarten thru third grade.  World Almanac Online connects students to information about important events, people, animals, countries and more.  All resources can be accessed from the library website, http://halekulalibrary.weebly.com with the username: halekula and the password: eagles

FREE Online math & science tutoring. Available to ALL Hawaii Dept. Of Education students K – 12 Monday – Friday 9am – 10pm.
