8/1 - 8/9

Welcome back to a great year at Hale Kula Elementary

If you have taken Chaperone Training last year, you do not need to retake the class. This year you can renew your Chaperone training by filling out bottom half of green 'get connected' paper that will come home in the first Wednesday envelope. Just turn it in once for your family and you are good to go on any field trips this year. 

Fri. Aug. 1       First day of school for students in 1st – 5th grade

Polo matches at Mokuleia field in Waialua. Aug. 3 is Walter Dillingham Trophy match. Aug. 10 is Mexico v. Hawaii. Gates open at 11am each Sunday and action starts at 2pm. Admission is $10 Call 226-0061

Mon. Aug. 4    School starts at 7:55 every day, please be on time in classroom by 7:55

Tues. Aug. 5   Chaperone Training at 8am in P14 – lasts 30 minutes (It is offered once a week throughout the school year. Every adult must attend Chaperone Training once before going on any field trips)

Wed. Aug. 6    Kindergarten class posting at 4pm – PTO will give away free icey pops

Thurs. Aug.7    Kindergarten parents bring supplies to classes


Fri. Aug. 8       Congratulations on completing the first week of school

Sat. Aug. 9       Family Fun Fair at Wahiawa District Park from 10am - 2pm. food, games, bouncers, kendama contest and more.

Sat. Aug. 9       Hawaii Dog Foundation hosts a "meet and greet" session with its adoptable dogs from noon to 2pm at Mililani Mauka Dog Park, 95-1009 Ukuwai Street. Call 782-8387
