1st Quarter Winners of $50 Gift Card

We appreciate all those who volunteered during the first quarter and who were nominated with a comment in the Hooray for Our Volunteers  and Hooray for Our Hale Kula Staff blogs!

The Volunteer winner for quarter 1 is Sheila Lanier, and the HKES Staff winner is Librarian Michelle Colte.  Their names were randomly selected to win the $50 gift card to Ruby Tuesday generously donated by the Hale Kula PTO.  Congratulations, Sheila and Michelle!

We appreciate all the positive comments which were posted in the blogs!  So many of our volunteers and staff go above and beyond to make school a safe and wonderful place for learning.  Please read the comments in this blog to see how those who were nominated are truly making a difference for our students and their families.

All those who were nominated will be eligible for future quarterly drawings.  In the meantime, we hope to get many more appreciations for our volunteers and our Hale Kula staff.  Please continue to share positive comments about how someone has made a difference in your child's experience in school!

Don't forget to check out the bulletin board by the cafeteria (parking lot side) which shares all the positive comments about our volunteers and our HKES staff.

Finally, a huge MAHALO to the Hale Kula PTO for providing the gift cards for our quarterly winners!

September Menu

http://www.scribd.com/doc/104485132/September-Breakfast-Lunch-Menu

Several people have asked when the September menu will be posted on our webpage.  Our Media Resource Teacher, Mrs. Cummings, is on maternity leave so  I'm not sure when she'll find the time to post it.

We'll try to problem-solve and get it up, but in case we don't get it up right away, here's the menu for the month.
