Month of the Military Child continues.  Did you see the student notes on F building?  It is great seeing how they feel and how they spell it. Also check out the maps-- every star indicates that a student said it was the favorite place they ever lived.  Students were asked during recess and while lined up after lunch.

Fri. April 22        2nd grade Field Trip to Epic Earth Day

Sat. April 23       Campus Beautification 9am – 12 noon. Volunteers welcome to help. Water bottle and food donations gratefully accepted.

Tues. April 26      Chaperone Training from 8:00 – 8:30 in PCNC office in corner of main office

Wed. April 27      School is out at 1:10 every Wednesday

Thurs. April 28     Dominos fundraiser – all day long order from Dominos on post and we profit
                      Poem in pocket day - Students are invited to carry a favorite poem in their pocket & share it with friends.

                      Turn in popcorn money by 8am

Fri. April 29        Popcorn that was prepaid will be delivered to classrooms in the afternoon

April 15 – 24              Mary Poppins live in the Mililani High cafeteria. Tickets cost $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Centraltheatreartsacademy.org

April 22     Wahiawa Botanical Garden leads a free class in Basic Horticulture at 9am. Call 522-7066

April 22 – 23 Moon Walks at Waimea Valley offers guided moon walks at 8pm for $10.  Call 638-5864

April 23     Mauka to Makai Environmental Expo will explore the ways the public can preserve and protect Hawaii’s environment through puppet shows, displays, activities and more. At the Waikiki Aquarium, admission is free from 9am – 2pm. Call 768-3248

April 23             Grow Hawaiian Festival at Bishop Museum from 9am – 3pm, FREE. Celebrate Hawaii’s culture, native plants and sustainable life styles with crafts, keiki activities, farmers market, native plants, food, hula and music.

April 23     Hawaii High School Rodeo at Kualoa Ranch from 9am – 4pm for FREE. Watch action-packed rodeo events, including bull riding, roping, barrel racing and more. 542-6548

April 26             Spooky and silly tales by Jeff Gere at 10am at the Waialua Library Call 637-8286


April 28             Island Kine Storyteller Janice Morimoto shares folktales and games, local style at 6pm at Wahiawa Library Call 622-6345
